Winter "Whish"!

January 2009 storoies at Tale Spin Stories included a Miss Kathy original titled, The Tin Soldier's Whish" featuring the broken dreams of a toy tin soldier given new life by the "whish" of a snowy white owl. Lessons oon stewarding property, and creative ways to make something old new again were highlighted. The tin soldier is an antique toy that once belonged to Miss Kathy's father, long forgotten in the basement some 70 years until rescued by Miss Kathy - and her snowy white owl puppet friend - and a gentle about second chances, turning trash to treasure, and having a thankful heart.
