Miss Kathy's Signature Recitation

From the time of my youth, I have loved Mary Howitt's, "The Spider and the Fly" as read to me by my mother, cuddling close to her on the couch. These encounters with literacy at an early age were part of the process in shaping the passion I have today for literacy and dramatic storytelling. This particular poem is my very favorite to perform for audiences of all ages. Here, Miss Kathy settles into the very center of a middle school audience in performance of this very effective moral tale.
