Art and History Equal Inspiration!

All creative thinking starts with creative inspiration from something that is already created. Students will explore the world of art and history to expand their experience boxes so they have a wider view of the world beyond pop culture. Students will study the time and places of master artists such as Michelangelo, DaVinci, Monet, and more - plus hear the sounds nature, Bach, Big Band, and beyond to help develop their artistic sensibilities. In addition, each week, students will peek into the tangible past with antiques that once held a purpose for daily life and living. Understanding the world of our elders and the generations that came before us, and their contribution to the world helps youngsters to appreciate history's relationship to who they are today - launching more creative communication opportunities.
