APRIL BLOSSOMS fill the Pageant Wagon this month with the fragrance of story for children of all ages!

STROLLING THROUGH EMILY'S GARDEN with Miss Kathy as Emily Dickinson in APRIL'S NATIONAL POETRY MONTH is the perfect program for your ladies' group, club, mother daughter banquets, literary society, or school classroom. The show debuts on April 13 at 7:00pm at the Logan Township Library (see Calendar at left for details)and can be adapted for various groups and ages. Perfect for any season since gardens and Emily Dickinson have something to say spring, summer, winter and fall. Also in this series is A JANE AUSTEN TEA and REVOLUTIONARY WOMEN featuring salutes to American matriarchs and role models, Betsy Ross, Abigail Adams, and Sarah Hale! MOTHER/DAUGHTER BANQUETS: It's that time of year again when the ladies put on their finery and gather for spring banquets celebrating the joy of mothers and daughters! Miss Kathy offers a variety of delightful speaking programs to inspire and honor woman of any age. Perfect for church groups, women's clubs, and more with themes such as: VINTAGE HATS & ACCESSORIES, CLOSET CLUTTERS, ANTIQUE TOYS AND CHILDHOOD TREASURES, YESTERYEAR LIFESTYLES, all with fascinating displays to charm and ignite stories of your own. VINELAND'S FOUNDER'S DAY COMING IN MAY - May 15-16, 2009 finds Mr. Ed as Vineland philantropist, Leverett Newcomb, and Miss Kathy as Vineland newspaper woman, Millie Case of The Vineland Independent, working with other historic re-enactors to present this annual event celebrating the history of Vineland, New Jersey. This year, the Calvary Chapel Theatrical Choir will present a Musical Military Salute to the five branches of the military in the morning on Saturday, May 16. Camp-by-Candlelight on May 15 is expected to be full of surprises with the emphasis on the Civil War era and lifestyles. Call 856 205-9334 for more info!

MELODRAMA REHEARSAL COUNT-DOWN! Melodrama 2009 is coming this July 30-31 and Augut 1!! The Pageatn Wagon Players have their script in hand and are already working on their music in anticipation for rehearsals beginning June 1. Mark your calendars now to be present for our mid-summer run. We'll keep you updated on all the preparations for this not-to-be-missed theatrical event!

PAGEANT WAGON PARABLE PLAYER'S HOME SCHOOL THEATRE DEBUT! Our twelve week course of study culminates this month in a performance for family and friends on April 20, at 7:00pm, at teh Calvary Chapel Playhouse, 930 N. Main Road in Vineland. Amaris, Cassidy, Samantha, Sean, Dawson, and Jordan have put a lot of work into the show and are looking forward to their stage debut. ATTENTION LIBRARIANS: Miss Kathy has two programs available to present in celebration of the 2009 Summer Reading Program theme of "Get Creative @ Your Library": Making Masterpieces with an emphasis on art and master-artists, and a theatre workshop where youngsters make stories come alive through improvisational performance titled "Fairy-Tales Onstage". PAGEANT WAGON WRITER'S CLUB: We'll be kicking off our Writer's Club Meetings with one on one tutorials and group meetings beginning the end of June, running through the summer and into the fall, culminating in the publication of a LITERARY JOURNAL and public reading at our 2009 I LOVE TO WRITE DAY event. ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS: Contact Miss Kathy and ask about her Classic Literature Book Dramatizations for the classroom!
Newbery Honor book, "The Golden Goblet" by Eloise Jarvis McGraw and "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" by C. S. Lewis, are just two of the tales Miss Kathy will be sharing at local elementary schools this spring. Programs feature an adapted retelling of a classic for all, and may include a follow-up interactive workshop especially geared to LEAP students!
