PROGRAMS FOR LOVERS OF LITERATURE AND HISTORY have been a focus at PWP, with Miss Kathy and Mr. Ed both doing the research and gathering the props and costumes for a fascinating journey into a book or into the past:

STROLLING THROUGH EMILY'S GARDEN with Miss Kathy as Emily Dickinson debuted this past spring with a huge display of foliage and poetry wrapping a biography of Miss Dickinson around her love of flowers and nature. Also in this series is A JANE AUSTEN TEA, BEATRIX POTTER TEA, and REVOLUTIONARY WOMEN featuring salutes to American matriarchs and role models, Betsy Ross, Abigail Adams, and Sarah Hale!

PLUS - Mr. Ed brings the HISTORY OF BASEBALL alive through his nostalgic stories of America's favorite pastime, it's heroes, legends, and life lessons. Mr. Ed also brings Colonial era AMERICAN HISTORY to life as a Revolutionary bookbinder collecting the stories of our Founding Fathers - their words, deeds and definitions - and the price they paid for our American freedom, in this old-fashioned patriotic salute to traditional American values. Remember to BOOK EARLY FOR CHOICE DATES!

VINELAND'S FOUNDER'S DAY, MAY 2009 was a huge success finding Mr. Ed as Vineland philantropist, Leverett Newcomb, and Miss Kathy as Vineland newspaper woman, Millie Case of The Vineland Independent, working with other historic re-enactors to present this annual event celebrating the history of Vineland, New Jersey. Miss Kathy is available year round for her informative and entertaining Vineland history speaking program titled, VINELAND MAKES HEADLINES, featuring period attire and a fascinating display of conversation starter artifacts of Vineland history. Call to book for schools and community groups!
