A Winter's Preparation for Spring!

February 18, 2010

Had enough snow, yet??!

February 2010 is Miss Kathy's cozy month to turn to thoughts of springtime preparations.

PRESENTING "DRAMA ON THE VINE": A full season of Drama Ministry through Calvary Chapel Vineland, working with a dynamic and talented production staff, actors, musicians, and artists is keeping Miss Kathy busy this month, as writer/director, planning out a year of original family friendly live theatre arts. This includes the NEW CALVARY CHAPEL SUMMER THEATRE - continuing the family friendly entertainment tradition begun with our sucessful five year run of Melodramas, but now with a full support production team to add to the quality of our product. I am very excited for this opportunity to partner with like minds in family entertainment. UP FIRST:

EASTER 2010 - "TALES FROM THE VINE: RIPENED, RESTIVE, AND RISEN!"
is the title of the first production of Calvary Chapel Vineland's Drama on the Vine - written and directed by Kathryn Ross. It is once again the season of New Life. Spring is in the air – and we remember the passion and Resurrection of Jesus. But, today, Storyteller and Troubadour will tell the story through a particular cluster of grapes – the lives of Jairus and his family – and the incidents surrounding the death and resurrection of his beloved daughter, Rina. Through the eyes of a cluster of individuals whose lives were dramatically touched by Jesus, the rising of Jairus’ daughter from the dead is recalled in flashback during the day of Christ’s crucifixion, the Sabbath Saturday, and Resurrection Sunday. Show-dates are the week after Easter, Thursday through Friday, April 8, 9, 10. Tickets are $5.00 and available by calling 856 696-9409.
