HISTORY:  The wisdom of our elders and the lessons of history inform the varied speaking programs Miss Kathy brings to your classroom or school assembly.  Fascinating displays of select antiques aid an appropriately costumed Miss Kathy in presenting amazing tales of other times and people with an emphasis on historic lifestyles, history literacy, and classic character values.  Western European, American history and bygone eras come alive through story and demonstration, making them relevant to contemporary times.  As Miss Kathy says:

"If you know where you came from, you'll know who you are, and have direction for where you need to be going!"

ARTS:  Drama clubs, LEAP students, church and youth organizations take center stage as Miss Kathy puts on  her theatrical director's hat and brings the Pageant Wagon Theatre Trunk filled with all sorts of props and costumes to help budding actors and actresses explore the art of storytelling through drama.  The history of theatre is woven in between acting exercises and voice and movement instruction before participants create characters and play out a storyline to Miss Kathy's improvised narration.  Hilarity ensues as imaginations soar and lessons in teamwork and critical thinking are learned!  This particular program is best geared to selected students in grades 3 through 8.
