Making Choices that Lead to All Good Things and Beauty!  MY STORY Keeping up with the creative demands of Pageant Wagon Productions was taking a toll on me.  I had been battling severe pain in all my joints and especially my feet.  This made wearing some of the shoes I use as costume accessories very difficult.  I struggled with constant fatigue and shooting pain in my lower back and legs in addition to the constant aching joints.  I knew I was running on adrenalin getting me from performance to performance.  My long hours of writing and preparation were often exhausting.  What was wrong with me?    Consulting a medical dictionary made matters worse - I had every major illness known to man!   Thankfully, reason and common sense won out.  I put the medical dictionary away choosing not to taunt myself with the fearful unknown.  After much prayer I began seeking advice from some of the most vibrant women in mid-life I know.  I narrowed down the culprit:  Nutrition was the key.   From childhood I was never a good eater and almost fifty years of poor eating habits and nutritional imbalances had taken their toll.  I consulted a naturopathic doctor and discovered acute intolerances to wheat, gluten, and dairy - easily dealt with by a change in diet.  Detoxification was the next step.  Re-learning the basics in digestive health put the wheel in my hands to steer my ship into healthy ports for a lifetime.  Chiropractic care brought back and bone health to the finish line.  Now, for daily maintenance.

That's where SHAKLEE products have come into my life once again.  I had known and tried them some twenty five years ago when the company was celebrating twenty five years of nutrition and health care through the power of network marketing and independent distribution.  But, I was very young and health care seemed something for older people to worry about.
